Welcome to the Dexter Area Chamber of Commerce
Dexter's official history predates that of the state of Michigan by 13 years, having been founded June 10, 1824, by Samuel William Dexter. Today, Dexter's village is a thriving community with a strong mix of residential and commercial interests. It boasts excellent schools, good proximity to major highways and a way of life that has held true to the initial vision for the village.
We invite you to explore the Dexter Area through our site. Whether you're considering locating your business here, moving to our area, or just planning a visit, Dexter has many resources to meet your needs.
