I was on the Scio Planning Commission and Board of Trustees, that approved the Final Site Plan for this Big Boy restaurant. When I discovered that the owners were the Berry family of the Saline-Ann Arbor Road Big Boy, I was delighted. Manager Sam Berry, and his father Nabil, had established a solid reputation as friendly businesspeople that placed the customer first and developed a world-class customer service team.

But now, less than a year since the new opening of this Big Boy - who can deny the record of success exhibited by Sam and his team? Sam is passionate about the Dexter community, and works tirelessly to ensure that our charities, service groups, and schools have opportunities to raise funds.

I go to this Big Boy at least once a week. When I am there I feel like I am having dinner with family. Part of the reason is that there are always so many other Dexter families there. But a big reason is the warm reception you get from Sam and team. It's better than "Cheers"!
