We are experiencing some incredible growth in membership and opportunities, and we need an incredible, Part-Time, administrative assistant to help continue that growth so that we can impact and connect more businesses, residents, and partners, This position will focus on serving multiple leaders and serves at the pleasure of the all volunteer Board of Directors.
So, what are we looking for?
The DACC Board of Directors is looking for a PART TIME Administrative Assistant to work on-site Monday - Friday from 9am - 1pm to do the following:
Speak clearly and concisely with purpose
Monitor and distribute communications in multiple platforms
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Publisher)
Able to manage multiple calendars
Meeting documentation and report preparation
Proficient in multiple social media platforms and email marketing programs
Ability to manage QuickBooks entry and handling invoicing
Maintaining supplies and office appearance
Assist with preparation and setup for team events and projects
Update sections of website with current info and upcoming events
Dedication as a Dexter community fan.
At least two years of experience as an assistant.
A proven track record of multi-tasking and organizational skills.
A desire to serve others, take care of a team, and anticipate needs.
Ability to thrive in a multi-faceted volunteer environment.
A few things we’d like you to know about us and the position:
We have around 200 members to our organization and a 9-10 person Board.
Leadership on the non-profit Board turns over at minimum every 2 years.
Position is in an organization that is publically accessible and accountable.
Compensation will range from $200.00 - $300.00 salary per week.
